"Changing" TV Sets!

In other words, the TV sets changed.

1) Happy Days

The front door was on the left side in the first season.

Then, it was on the right side, near the kitchen.

2) The Nanny

The front door was on the left side in the pilot.

Then, the right side for every seasons.

"Designing Women"

In the pilot episode, the staircase was in a different place and the front door looked different. I also think (and I may be wrong) that there was no glass doors leading outside.

Later in the series they moved the staircase and the front door, added a back door and patio area that we only saw in the background.

Also they continuously changed their minds about where the door off the kitchen lead too. In some episodes it led to a supply room, other-times a bathroom or office and yet still sometimes it led to Julia's dining room.

"The Golden Girls"

The kitchen seemed to change after the first season. During the first year there was a wall that was suddenly replaced by shelves in the later seasons.

"The Cosby Show"

Is it just me or did the living room and kitchen seem to change colors every single season?

On The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, the living room and kitchen are smaller and look much different in season one, in season two and beyond, the living room and kitchen are different and much bigger. In season one the stairs were in the foyer near the front door, in season two and beyond, the stairs are actually in the living room.
The kitchen in season one didn't even have a table, just a small island with a sink and dishwasher attached. In season two and beyond, there was an island but the sink was in the counter behind it and there was a table.

On Frasier, mainly in the pilot Martin mentions letting Daphne have the room across the hall from his which Frasier called his library. In the episodes following, Daphne's room was in the hallway next to the kitchen and Martin's was next to Frasier's behind the fireplace. Martin's room had always been in the same place, and we actually never "saw" Daphne's room until season two. We would see her walk by the kitchen into the hallway where her room was but we never saw the room.
I guess they decided to change the location of Daphne's room after the pilot.

The Cosby Show's sets did seem like the living room set was repainted about a few eps. into the 4th season or so.

The Odd Couple also changed after its 1st season, the one where it was taped w/o a live audience. The kitchen door to the living room was straight in front of the viewers on the right hand side while on Season 2 and beyond had it on the far left hand side at an angle.

Webster the apartment in the pilot episode was beige and brown and there was no extra room for Webster, plus the balcony view was facing Lake Michigan. By the 2nd episode of the Apartment-era episodes the apartment walls were now sky blue and dark blue and the hallways to the bedrooms were slightly bigger and there was an extra room for Webster and the balcony in the living room was facing another building instead of Lake Michigan.

Empty Nest changed their set colors from 1980s pastels to more contemporary shades of brown and red colors sometime late in its run. Plus, the kitchen looked like it was remodeled a bit too.

Silver Spoons also comes to mind. By Season 4, a number of changes would take place with the set, slowly and steadily. The obvious one was the elimination of the arcades in the living room and a new addition seemed to have been added between the space where the upper right hand entrance near the backdoor and possibly the kitchen was at. Then after a total color set change came, the train was shown one last time before the train was never seen again for good one episode later.

227 I think the Jenkins' apartment changed a bit some between the 1st 2 seasons and the last 3 seasons, too, namely the wallpaper in the living room.
