Which comedy is currently the best on broadcast television? (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC).

I chose 30 Rock. But if someone chose Community, Parks & Recreation, or Happy Endings, I would not be mad at them.

i like alot of the sitcoms on the poll but i went with the big bang theory because it almost never fails to make me laugh every week and i luagh just as much at reruns as i do at new eps

'Big Bang' is the only current sitcom that I ever watch.

Mike & Molly is a very underrated show. It's quickly becoming one of my favorites.

If we're going for lifetime achievement, then "The Office" takes the cake but that show is lame now.

Raising Hope is my #1 favorite show right now. I also really love Parks and Recreation.

Modern family.But i like a lot of these shows.Two and a half men,Big bang theroy,The Simpsons,Family guy,How i met your mother,The office etc.

Agreed. I missed a lot of season 8, but I will be back for season 9 and stay until the end. It's become painful to watch. It's a real shame what's happened to such a wonderful show. I can sort of deal with Michael leaving. I can't deal with recycled plots and storylines bordering on insanity. How many crazy parties and meetings can one place actually have? Maybe Jan can find a baby sitter and convince corporate to allow her to come back to work. ;)

Yeah that's what i was thinking too.There are some good ones out now days.Although i understand if it's because you miss the old sitcoms.Because so do i.

That's about it the sitcoms of today I feel with the exception of The Big Bang Theory which is one of the few modern shows that is worth watching are either too busy trying copy the success of other shows, coasting on their success and not even trying for example Two 1/2 Men, Family Guy, The Office or are just simply vehicles for stand up comedians to do a TV version of their act example Whitney.

Yeah,i like modern family a lot and big bang theory is good.But i hear ya about the rest.They are funny,But they wouldn't be my first choice.Really most of the time.I'm watching old tv sitcoms lol I did like Two and a half men .When Sheen was on it though.

The Middle is easily the best current sitcom. Distant runners-up are Raising Hope and Last Man Standing.

I agree. There are a lot of fantastic comedies right now. In fact some would say that comedy is going through a new golden age.

I won't say that the sitcoms today are better than the old days but it is much better than it was during the last decade. It's nice to see the sitcom make a comeback.
