Well fans, it has happened and now we will finally get to see Alice on DVD and not some best of dvd favorites. What a long wait after the show was removed from "SH*TON in 2007, and now the DVD is not only released but it is now ready to be purchased on June 12th

I will wait and see how the reviews look before I go out and waste my money. But this is a good start and BEAUTIFUL NEWS:wave:

I;m not sure why some S.O. members rushed to buy certain shows when they know that it would be a review first on this site. That's why I won't purchase season 1 of Rhoda.:lol:

I already have season one on DVD (purchased from someone who recorded the show from when it first aired on TNN) and I love how well the show was aired on that network.

Well you probably can get rid of that season 1 on DVD because this DVD will be edited. I think the review will be next week

I already got Alice Season 1 and both Seasons of FLo on DVD from Amazon On Demand none of them are edited and the quality is great. I really wish they would do more then just 1 Season already available.

Its video on demand but I burned my own copy. I mentioned it in another thread a few months ago but no one responded.

Yes, there are some scenes that I've never seen because they were cut for syndication. I should've recorded the show on TNT. They showed the missing scenes but cut out others. I'm hoping all the seasons with Flo will be on DVD!

I haven't purchased a NEW DVD Release since 2007 when the Jeffersons came out. All the other DVD's I have bought were past releases like All in the Family which is why I was able to buy 2 seasons for $28.00

Yeah back in 2007 it was soooooooo much to talk about it LOL The editing, the quality, and the show itself, and then the removal of the show by ION


Plus I remember it had a wonderful time slot.........."7pm" LOL

i got over a hundred dvds to watch almost all the normen lear shows and others doubt il get Alice never was in that show

Episodes appear to be unedited. Video quality is pretty decent for a videotaped program from the '70s. You can see the quality in their video clip promo.
