I was watching ADAM-12 season 5 episode 2, "The Late Baby," On NETFLIX. About 18 minutes, and a few seconds in, Reed looks at the vacation hot sheet as they round a curve in a residential section, Reed looks at a pick up truck, and calls it a "1981 Tacoma." This is odd seeing how it is 1973. I know I heard it, and two other people in the room heard it, so we backed it up several times to make sure. It's there, and I wonder if anyone else noticed it, and if it is on the DVD version too? Check it out and let me know.

Yes he did say 1981 I guess that was a slip up in the writing in the script for that episode you can watch it again on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=yLlfsZdgBwk

Maybe, but it seems like it would make more sense if it were a slip of the tongue by McCord, and they just left it in.

Hey fellow Adam-12 fans, I just spotted this older thread. If you listen to the audio closely, Reed says "1981 Tacoma, isn't that on our vacation checklist?" He is not referring to the truck (which is a '60's Ford) he is referring to the house address (you can also see the house mailbox in the same shot as the truck) and the fact the the gardener is supposed to be there between 1-3pm on Thursdays which we assume it is not, thus arousing their suspicions to check out the house. Hope this clears things up?
