This episode was about the longtime friend of Rhoda's father who came to visit and confessed his obessesion with Ida over the years. He also had been waiting for Ida and Martin to break up every since they were married
Ida wasn't not even seen in this episode which made it pointless. Also Martin is not one of the stronger characters on the show which made it boring.
Wonder was this the turning point of the series?

After that episode I see that Rhoda's parents are the topic again. I don't like MARTIN MORGENSTERN LOL

He was more of a straight character. He wasn't goofy at all.

Joe wasn't goofy and was funny
Justin wasn't goofy and was funny
Ida wasn't goofy and was funny
Brenda wasn't goofy and was funny
Rhoda wasn't goofy and was funny
The only goofy character was Carlton and he was unseen.

I think its an ok episode, the season2 one I'm not struck on is "Lets Call It love" when Rhoda and Joe lock themselves away in the apartment.
I wasn't keen on the season3 epiosde of Brenda wanting a nose job,quite a weak one,that episode.

Any episode that didn't feature Morgenstern was a GOOD ep-lol Maybe that's why I'm looking forward to seeing season 3:lol:
