Which current TV commercials are you sick of?
I am so sick of the Burger King one with B.B. King. UGH :rolleyes: They show it constantly! Now don't get me wrong - I love B.B. King - but it's pretty sad when a great blues singer like him starts singing about hamburgers.

Please don't hate me!!!!

But, I can no longer stomach the Dell Computer commercial. At first I thought the guy was cute, but "NOW" I can't stand his voice. I even hear that voice in other commercials......... "THEY JUST RUN THIS" Dang commercial to death....... :bash: :livid: :smash: :angryfire :boxing: :argue:

I totally agree with you! I quickly change channels whenever those stupid Dell commercials come on. I also do that for the 1-800-Call-ATT commercials with Carrot Top. Ick!

I hate any commercial that has anything to do with enhancing ones sexual abilities, shall we say? There's this new one they show a lot on GSN that has to do with *coughs* bigger body parts *coughs*. EWWWWW!!!!!

I know the one you're talking about. Very gross! GSN shows a lot of stupid commercials, as does TV Land. What kind of people do they think watch these channels, anyway? :rolleyes:

Steve Badly Beaten

Austin, TX - Steve, a local boy who used his persuasive talents to get his friends Dell computers, was found badly beaten in an alley outside a Supercuts in Austin. He was taken to the hospital and remains in stable condition.

In police reports Steve identified his two assailants as Jeff Fefferbean and his friend Charles. "I don't know why those guys would want to hurt me," said a battered and bruised Steve. "I helped them get their computers. Of course I also convinced Jeff's parents to send him to fat camp, maybe that was it."

"I remember very clearly that Jeff was furious. He kept screaming, 'Here's your free DVD player, here it is.' I really think he needs some help. Maybe somebody in Dell's #1 rated service department can talk to him," continued Steve.

Police did recover pieces of what appeared to be a DVD player and are awaiting a forensic report to see if they match the wounds on Steve's head.

"I don't know who would want to do this to Steve, but I can't believe it was my Jeffy," said Mrs. Feffercorn. "Steve has always been so perky and friendly. We're always telling Jeff he should be more like Steve."

After a 4 hour standoff Jeff Feffercorn surrendered to police. "Sure, Steve helped me to convince my mom to get me a computer, but it turns out it's got this crappy Intel 845 chipset in it. What good is that," said Jeff. "Plus he kept screwing up my name. I think he did it on purpose just to piss me off. I told him 'Dude you're getting an ass whoopin'"

Charles was unavailable for comment. Dell's stock was down on the news.

NO!!! I totally don't hate you! I agree I hate those stupid Dell commercials!! I hate that Steve guy!!! I agree with all of you, I just wanna smash the TV when i see that commercial!!! Now I like Dell, cause I have one, but I think we all get the point. They should do one last commercial of Dell with Steve in it, and then he downloads some virus from the internet, his computer breaks down, and drops dead! That would show him!!!:smash: :boxing:

Ya know what other commercial I hate?

The one where the little girl goes into the bathroom right after her dad (holding a magazine of course) comes out, and she walks up to the toilet, gets a disgusted look on her face, and covers her nose and mouth with her shirt. Then she goes and gets mommy, who laughs, and then installs some sort of toilet bowl cleaner stuff, that makes the toilet fresh smelling. And then the girl takes in a deep breath. AND they have that annoying kazoo or whatever the heck it is playing the whole time.

I REALLY hate that commerical. I can't stand the kazoo, plus, I don't particularly like to have such a potent reminder that ***** stinks when I am watching TV. (especially since most the time I am eating while I am watching.)

That one is probably the most annoying commercial of all!!!!!!I really hate the one. tv land use to show it all the time and I think they still do but not as much as before. I wish they would just burn it!!!!!

Billy May's voice gets REALLY annoying after you hear it too much!

the local ones are always annoying. They have really bad picture and sound quality plus they are really stupid.
There was this commercial, like 10 years ago that my mom and I used to HATE! It was this kid playing in the trash. and it was for Dial. It was discusting!

There would be no TV shows without the commercials advertising the Network's sponsors.

I hate those commercials where the parents talk about how they know their kids don't do drugs because they ask. Umm, ok, lets send out a message to be a pain in the @ss to your kid, and hope they won't grow up resenting you, and of course, we all know children never lie to their parents. :rolleyes: What's next, commercials advocating searching your kid's underware drawer? I mean, I think that parent's should have an idea of who their kid's friends are, and what they do, but I think it is a dangerous message to put out there that if you ask your kid point blank if they do drugs that they will be truthful with you.

I also hate the ones where the kids are all like "I hated you", "I thought you were the worst parent ever", etc. etc. etc. and then at the end they're like "Thanks." argh.

Basically, I hate any commercial that promotes the ideology of the drug war.

I also hate the "truth" commercials because they are annoying and stupid.

All commercials annoy me, especially ones that use rock songs to advertise their product. The latest travesty: "Taxman" in an H&R Block commercial.

If Paul, Ringo, and the Lennon and Harrison estates still owned publishing rights to their songs, you'd hear nary a Beatles song in a commercial.

"Rock And Roll" by Led Zeppelin will be the next song used in a commerical, I read last week. That's so sad. I can't remember what product it will be used for and when the campaign will begin to air, though.
