We all know that TBBT has been renewed until the 2013-2014 season which would put the sitcom at an impressive 7 seasons. After that who knows? So I pose the question...should season 7 be the last? Should Big Bang go out on top or continue until whenever?

i hope it continues on but it's up to the cast and crew (including Chuck Lorre) to decide if they want to go out on top or continue producing episodes. It's a hot show. It hasn't gone stale yet.

Oh, I agree, it does pose an interesting dilemma however. I think.

It's one of the few shows that makes me laugh constantly every week. I didn't even get into the show until season 2. I didn't know what I was missing. lol The show is at it's peak right now. As long as they continue to entertain , I'm all for it continuing.

Well I;m sure the show will be ending soon since they are getting older. Maybe another 2 years?

Yeah what age are they supposed to be on the show? I thought at some point characters grow and move on. How long are they going to live together?

Good point, although the same happened with Friends.

Yeah I expect one or two of them to meet someone and get married at some point.

If I had my way, I would put "The Big Bang Theory" at 12 seasons before the end of this decade.

The show only may have 2 or 3 years left anyway since they are all getting older

One of them may want to do something else after 2 or 3 years instead of playing nerds

I think the Sheldon actor gets a lot of work. Not sure if the others are in big demand or not.

I think the ones that will get work is the characters who make the show

Amy

They're definitely in a groove right now. They've able to balance some quirky sexual humour with humour that appeals to a large audience. Not sure when they're going to run out of material or steam, or both.

It could last till the 10th season. The writing as only gotten better over the seasons. The ratings have to, this season it saw record ratings. Pretty good for a show who in it's first season only got about 10 million viewers.

Amy makes the show better so it made definitely stick around for a while

To anyone wanting The Big Bang Theory to end soon:

The Big Bang Theory is not ending its original first-run tenure anytime soon, especially with such shows as Two and a Half Men and, mostly, The Simpsons and South Park still on the air. The show's cast and crew are going to keep fighting and go on as long as they can.

It's so funny! I'm particularly taken with Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting. I think she's come a really long way as an actress. I'm glad it's been renewed for another three seasons. Let's see how they develop it now.
