A fashion designer who earned an Emmy for his glamorous, big-shouldered designs on the television show "Dynasty" has died, The New York Times reports. Nolan Miller was 79.

The long black "cobweb" gown worn by Carolyn Jones as Morticia Addams on "The Addams Family" was designed by Miller.
