Are they making any changes to their fall schedule?

Hopefully, the only change they'll be making is folding completely and giving those two hours a night back to the stations. What a useless excuse for a "network."

I don't want them to fold. They still have some good shows in Monk and Without a Trace, and more could possibly be added. And they only air two hours a night, the affiliates have more freedom in scheduling than those of the major networks.

I wish they would fold. There's nothing I like on there and they share space with my MeTV affiliate so I don't get to see the MeTV programs from 7-9 PM Central and so that means I will miss out on all the good things they have planned for this summer.

House is replacing Cold Case on Tuesday nights. That's all I have so far. As a result, House will leave local weekend broadcast syndication.

I would hate to see any network fold but they do need to change something. Arent Monk and Cold Case already in syndication already? If thats true, then why put it on MyNetwork? Its too bad they cant have any first run programming. I mean look at the alternative. If they have first run programming and it fails, so what, it fails. If the shows are successful, then there successful.

No, Monk and Cold Case are not in local syndication. And if something fails first-run, of course they have to care. It costs money and lots of marketing. They are not built for first-run right now. Nothing worked for them.

I believe that once they stopped offering original programming, MyNetworkTV should have ceased operations. They're not a television network in a traditional sense anymore; they're nothing more than a fancy rerun package, lower on the totem pole than even PTEN, which at least offered stations first-run programming.

The loss of MyNetwork would hurt some smaller stations, but I think others would benefit from becoming independents and being able to program those ten hours themselves--either with local programming (which desperately needs to make a comeback across the country) or with syndicated fare. Those that don't want or can't afford to become independents can always try to affiliate themselves with another network. But I'd really like to see independent stations rise again. They're missed in many, many markets.

Fox launched MyNetworkTV in an effort to fill the void left by the merger of UPN and The WB. That void hasn't been successfully filled, at least in terms of original programming. There would be no shame in NewsCorp packing it in and calling MyNetworkTV a failed experiment, especially when they have a very successful flagship broadcast network and several successful cable channels.

Rumour has it that 'Burn Notice' will be replaced this fall with a new night of encore programming, and there is spec that MNT might open up Wednesdays to a night of 'Cops' encores, especially now that FOX has pushed that well-rated reality series aside.

I am quite surprised the COPS is not on Saturday nights any more.

It have been a Saturday mainstay for years and years.

Nowadays, Saturday is a DEAD night for the networks.

Numb3rs is a great addition. Never really liked House. I might check out White Collar when Vampire Diaries is on one of its multiple hiatuses.

Yep, the networks have basically given up trying to entertain people on the weekends. In reality it makes perfect sense because it falls right in line with the greed of network television in this day and age.

No one watches television on Saturdays, so how can you blame the networks? Times have changed and people would rather go out on the weekends then watch television. The only thing that'll ever gain traction is sports.

That's cool, people who don't have cable will get to see White Collar now.

Considering that FOX now has MLB baseball on Saturday night, Nascar racing and I think College Football on Saturday night, Im surprised Cops and America's Most Wanted didnt go to MyNetworkTV.
