View Full Version : Charlie Sheen Has Not Cleaned Up His Act At All
Brian Damage 06-06-2012, 11:08 AM On being off the wagon and making no bones about it: "I mean, the **** works. Sorry, but it works. Anyway, I don't see what's wrong with a few drinks. What's your drink? Tequila? Mine's vodka. Straight, because I've always said that ice is for injuries, ha ha."
On his mended relationship with ex-wife Denise Richards: "He and I are like best friends now," says Richards. "Confidants. He tells me everything." Adds Sheen, "And we sleep in separate rooms. Everybody's going to want to know that, too."

ShamelessFanGirl 07-05-2012, 10:31 PM Charlie Sheen will always be Charlie and no matter what the media says about him he's going to do what he wants regardless of how it makes him look in the public eye. He doesn't care. As far as his relationship with his ex-wife Denise Richards that is good that they terms now I am sure they always tried to remain civil for the sake of their children.

Popularity aside, this dude needs to get it together. I'm sorry. I like the guy but he needs to slow down. He will crash soon if he keeps going at the rate he is going.

I agree, but i like the guy whether he does or not.I wish he would though.Because it would be best for him and his family if he did.Aswell as his career.

I like him too but it is what it is and it stinks big time.
Mr. Television 07-06-2012, 10:50 AM Sad to say but I wouldn't be surprised to read his death on here someday. He's just out of control. He needs help.

You took the words right out of my mouth.
hawkeye123 07-06-2012, 08:30 PM Yeah,i know guys.It sucks and i wish he would change too.But the sad facts about it.Is he probably won't.I know people like Charlie.Same age in there 50s and still partying like they are teenagers.
Retro4Life 07-06-2012, 09:44 PM He can spin it any way he wants. He's got "tiger blood" he's a "rock star from Mars" or he's "winning."
The truth is he's an alcoholic who hasn't owned up to his disease, and that's a recipe for disaster. The fact that he's worth a gazillion dollars doesn't make him one cent better than the wino you passed lying in the gutter.
Sonny's right, he's on the road to death if he doesn't change. And he's not just hurting himself, he's hurting everyone around him. Sure, he'll have periods of sobriety, but if he doesn't confront his problem, those periods will become shorter and shorter and some time disappear altogether.
Don't mean to be a downer, but that's the reality of the disease, not Sheen's outdated macho fantasy of it.

It's a disease just like anything else.I know many people that suffer with the samething. It does not make them bad people. Most of them are just looking to escape or numb the pain. That life sometimes brings us all.Is it right no .But i will not condem him for it.I have suffered with being a alchoholic myself.I got it from my dad and Grandpa. It started out just to have fun.But as bad things happened in life.I started to use it as a escape and to numb the pain.I drank from the time i was 13 until the time i was 23 years old. When i finally got fed up with it.And said i was going to change my life. Not still be drinking at 50 like my old man.I haven't drank in 7 years besides a couple beers and that's almost non excistant.I hope Charlie can change but if he doesn't let him be.

I know full well being an alcoholic doesn't make you a bad person. My own brother had it, I loved him, and he died from it.
My post wasn't about condemning Sheen, but about trying to put aside the romantic notion of alcoholism that he often portrays to the media. It's not cool, it's not a lifestyle choice, and it's not something you can handle. It can and will kill you if you don't stop.
I applaud your strength and courage in being able to confront your own disease and hold it at bay.

Very true. I think some celebs think it can't happen to them because they can get everything they want. Truth is, celebs are more susceptible to going overboard and dying because they can get whatever they want. Michael Jackson, Anna Nicole, Whitney House, Elvis Presley, etc., they were all surrounded by people who didn't say no to them. If they did, they were gone.
It's good that Denise Richards is spending time with Charlie Sheen now. He'll behave, but what happens when she leaves though? She has her own life. The way he's talking, that he can have a few drinks, is nonsense. There's no such thing if you're an alcoholic. One is too many, and 100s not enough. I don't particularly care for Sheen, but I would hate to see something bad happen to him.

I agree as well but what's even sadder is that 'nice' stars like Davy Jones die so young and they were such good people. I'm not saying that I wish Charlie Sheen dead; I would never say that-but the ones who set out to destroy their lives seem to be eternal sometimes. At least Emilio Estevez has been a pretty good role model. I saw the movie he directed and it was entertaining. He did a good job with it. Not the best movie ever but well done anyway. Too bad his brother is such a screw up. Makes me feel sorry for Martin Sheen. He's been trying so hard to straighten Charlie out.
