View Full Version : Gillian's Island Warm & Fuzzy 01-27-2002, 02:21 PM Why was the island named after Gillian? Warm & Fuzzy 01-27-2002, 02:22 PM **Gilligan TJL 01-27-2002, 03:28 PM My my, we're just full of Gilligan questions today. Tha't good because I'm full of answers. I guess the creators of the show wanted the action to revolve around the funniest character. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but Bob Denver was at the time one of the more well known of the cast members, having been on a successful show a few years earlier.
