I think you have Reta Shaw mixed up with Barbara Morrison. Barbara played the snooty woman in the department store who kept running into Lucy.

I don't think I really disliked many minor characters, but I got sick of Sid Gould, the actor who was in almost every other episode of TLS and HL, playing a different character. He didn't have a regular part til he played Sam the bartender in the final seasons of HL. Why didn't they utilize other actors?

I suspect that Sid Gould got so much work on those shows because he was Gary Morton's cousin, so I've read in "The Lucy Book" anyway.

I don't think you're the only viewer that got sick of that putz real fast.

Gould's wife, Veda Barra, was annoying too. She yelled all of her lines.
