If you sound it out really slow like:

Anna Marie, I'll be gettin' in a taxi honey ....

As in addressing someone named Anna Marie, then say it fast.

It was a play on words kind of like:

Knock knock
Who's there?
Dwayne
Dwayne who?
Dwayne the bathtub, I'm dwowning

Anna Maria Alberghetti was a then-famous actress and singer so it was a play on words sung to the tune of "The Darktown Strutter's Ball". Part of the joke for the audience was that it was such a bad joke.
