Asked recently by "Access Hollywood" about who could fill the shoes of Mary Richards in a possible remake of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Moore said: "I was thinking Teri Hatcher might be good. She's got the look, and I think she does well with comedy, so that might happen."

In some ways I agree, I've always liked Teri Hatcher since she caused Dan Fielding to stick a fire hose down in pants on Night Court!

No, somebody just asked Mary who she thinks would be the best "New Age" Mary Richards. There are no plans (at least not now) to redo MTM. Things in Hollywood do change though. ;)
