Let's see if we can liven up this board some. Most of you have probably played 20 Questions before so let's try it here.
The Answerer (me, since I'm starting the game) thinks of a person, place, or thing from a TAGS episode, states which category it's in, and the questioners, y'all playing along, try to guess it by asking questions. A guess also counts as a question. Questions should be asked so they can be answered by a yes or no, and must be answered truthfully. The Answered may give hints, or elaborate on an answer if clarification is needed.
If the item is guessed within 20 questions the questioner who got it right becomes the Answerer and a new round starts. A person who has asked no questions during a round cannot make a guess. If a new Answerer doesn't wish to play, s/he may name another poster to take their place before a new round starts or may just leave it open for anyone else by stating that. It's much easier and more fun than the rules make it seem.

Okay, I have a thing in mind. Questions may start anytime.

10 (sar) Is this place in Mayberry?

OK, back up to #5, I guess sar guessed it. I was thinking the duck pond and the lake were different places but after looking it up to make sure, I guess not.
Myer's Lake — As seen in the opening credits of The Andy Griffith Show, it was the place Andy and Opie Taylor went fishing, and where Barney often drove with Thelma Lou for their "romantic getaways." The fictional lake was mentioned on the show as being located in Stokes County, North Carolina. Stokes County is a real county next to Surry County where Andy Griffith was born and raised.

So I guess Sar won. :)

You're right, it was called Myers' Lake. I had my mind on the Fishing Hole which was also the theme's title.

According to the Mayberry County map in TAGS Book by Beck and Clark, Myers' Lake and the duck pond are two different bodies of water. As fifties says, Myers' Lake is mostly in Stokes County SE of Mayberry while the duck pond is a bit north of Mayberry. I always thought the opening sequence was Myers' Lake where there is swimming and fishing and boating, and the tiny duck pond is where couples go to have some privacy.

Here's a link to a version of the map in the book:

http://www.imayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/dc269/map_big.gif

This map isn't as sharp as the book map and has some minor differences but the lakes pretty much match. It's hard to read some of the names on the online map but the duck pond is the middle lake of the three small in-line lakes (Miller's Pond, Duck Pond, Fisher's Pond) above the word MAYBERRY.
I meant that one, not Myers' Lake and I don't know which lake is considered "the fishin' hole." There are several lakes in the county.

Okay, I've got an easy one. It's a person.
