House creator David Shore has refused to rule out a movie version.
"I would love to do [a film]," Shore told TV Guide. "I'm sure everybody would love to do it."
He continued: "Logistically it's a difficult thing to do. But it could be fun."
Shore added that it would be difficult to include the character of Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard), who was diagnosed with cancer in the show's final episodes.
"It's certainly going to be tricky with Wilson, because we're clearly saying [he's] dying," said the show exec. "But it could be done."
The House finale drew 8.7m viewers for Fox on Monday night, the show's most-watched episode since January.
