A while back, I posted a thread on this site called the "Pep Boys". The thing that first triggered this thought in my mind was seeing an ad for this company when I came to this site. In any event, the way that I tied it in with "Gimme a Break!" had to do with the non-smoking subculture that was starting to take hold in the eighties and that was touched on in this show. You would have to read the post itself to fully understand how it call comes together. In any event, I saw another ad for this company during this sitting! This one had to do with tire installation. If you buy three tires from their store and pay them to install them, they will give you the fourth tire for free and install it along with the others. My favorite episode of all-times is "Katie Steals Julie's Jock"! Several times during this episode, it gets mentioned that the boy that Katie and Julie both like has a blue van. One thing that Katie enjoyed was the fact that he let her drive it. This was like a novelty thing being that she was plenty old enough to have a licence, but she did not have her own car. In any event, if Steve's van ever needs new tires, I wonder if you might consider buying them from the "Pep Boys"!
