Tonight (like a lot of other nights), I have been racking my brain trying to think of ways to stimulate some conversation about some of these fine series. So far, I have posted three messages on the "Gimme a Break!" page and one on the "Mad About You". So far, I am the most recent person to post on any of these pages. My post on the "Mad About You" page was about a half an hour ago and the last time I checked, it did not even have any views by anyone other than me. In any event, because of how much I have beaten into the ground any topics that I can think of pertaining to that show, I resorted to posting a thread about site traffic. Now I am doing the same thing here! My last thread on this page has twenty-five views and zero replies. Twenty-five years ago was 1987. That was the year that "Gimme a Break!" finally went off of the air. Is anyone here a fan of that show? I thought it was great! I enjoyed it about as much when I was a teenager as I enjoyed "Caroline in the City" when I was a young adult. Just as much as I had a big crush on Caroline from the latter show, I had a big crush on the character of Julie Kinisky from the former! Two very sexy babes in my opinion! I was very sad to see the character of Julie terminated! However, I would consider the last season of that show, more or less, a joke in its own time! About as much as "Punky Bruster"! In any event, Kari Michaelsen from that series was born the same year as Lea Thompson from this one. Another babe that I really admire that was born that year is Julia Louis-Dreyfus! Three beautiful women all born in 1961!

I just started watching this show after not having seen it in forever. I didn't know that Brian Hargrove (DHP's husband) directed some episodes (inculding one that DHP was in-can't wait to see that!), so of course, being a huge fan of DHP, I decided to start DVR"ing them. BTW, Leah Thompson was in Seattle a few weeks ago b/c they were doing a screening of "Back to the Future" and she was the guest of honor. Wish i could have gone to that. I'll see if I can find the link and post it.

I am very happy to have finally thought of a topic for a thread that someone actually thought was worthy of a reply! It is too bad that you were unable to go to the event in which Lea Thompson was the guest of honor. I am sure that getting to see her in person would have been a big thrill! And but the way, what to you especially like about David Hyde Pierce?
