It happens to the best of us. A few weeks ago on the blog I had Isabel Sanford starring in Sanford and Son instead of The Jeffersons. A visitor politely pointed it out. I quickly corrected my egregious error.

Jerry Van Dyke guest starred in four episodes of The Dick Van Dyke Show, but his brother Dick never appeared on My Mother the Car. Dick appeared uncredited in a 1993 episode of Coach.

Michael Lembeck starred on One Day At A Time but his sister Helaine Lembeck never appeared.

May as well reverse it. Helaine Lembeck recurred on Welcome Back Kotter but Michael never appeared.

James Arness starred on Gunsmoke for 20 seasons. His brother, Peter Graves never appeared on the show. However he did direct one episode.

Jennifer Anniston's father John was a big soap opera star but never did Friends.

I believe you're wrong about that! I'm pretty sure John Aniston guest starred in at least one episode of Friends when Joey's storyline of him playing Dr. Drake Remoray on a soap opera (and I believe it was Day Of Our Lives too! The same one that the late John Aniston starred in for several years!) was going on.

But let's reverse that, the late John Aniston (father) starred in the daytime drama Days Of Our Lives for many years, but Jennifer Aniston (daughter) never appeared on an episode of Day Of Our Lives.

The same one that the late John Aniston starred in for several years!) was going on.

I guess you're right and I'm wrong, I can't find anything now saying that John Aniston appeared in an episode of Friends even though I could swear he had! Maybe it was a different actor. I could swear some actor from Days Of Our Lives appeared in an episode or two of Friends when Joey's storyline of playing Dr. Drake Remoray was happening.
