Over on the "Gimme a Break!" page of this site, someone posted a thread mentioning that, on this day twenty-five years ago, the last episode of that series was broadcast. I have since responded to that thread. I am very happy to see that, at least a few people other than me are posting messages on that page again! In any event, as some of you probably know, during her late teens, this show's Helen Hunt auditioned for the part of oldest daughter Katie on that series. She was beaten out by Kari Michaelsen. In any event, twenty-five years ago, it was 1987. That was five years before the start of "Mad About You". In other words, the show that Helen Hunt did not get picked for ended five years before the show that made her a house hold name began! And, just in case anyone is interested, even before I went ahead and responded to this "Gimme a Break!" post, I started a new thread on the page of "Caroline in the City". Now there is a page that is even more of a dead zone than this page or "Gimme a Break!"!
