I was going through some old VHS tapes of mine over the weekend, and found one with a couple of different UM episodes on it. It was most likely recorded back when Liftetime used to air UM at noon and one o'clock. The segment I saw was a couple of minutes before it cut out to something different, so I may be getting some of the details wrong. It was definitely a segment from either season 8 or 9, and it was part of the "new" UM format (that had the creepy but different from the original theme music) that was used during the mid to late 90's. The segment was about a missing woman, and her husband (whom IIRC was genuinely innocent) and a friend/family member went driving around looking for her car. They found it abandoned in a restaurant parking lot, and in the UM re-enactment it was raining outside. I wish I could give more details, but these were the only things that were found on the tape, and I don't think it was long enough to mention or show the actual name of the missing woman or her husband. The woman had brown hair, was in her late 30's-early 40's, and her husband was balding and kind of looked like Kevin the stage manager from the All-That TV show:

I think that might be Alicia Showalter Reynolds, but I'm not sure. She vanished when she went to go to a shopping mall, and her car was later found abandoned. Authorities believe that she was abducted by a man who stalked women along Route 29, telling them that there was something wrong with their car.

No it's definitely not Alicia Reynolds, I remember that segment very well. But it is from around the same time (season) that the Reynolds segment aired.

Yeah it doesn't fit the description completely of Alicia. Some of the same things apply though. Her husband as well seemed genuinely innocent and her car was found abandoned.
I guess it wouldn't be Gail Delano?
Edit: no, definitely wouldn't

Figured it out! It was Carolyn Killaby (the segment cuts in about halfway through on my video tape) as part of the Dennis Keith Smith segment.
