That doesn't stop people from watching the Golden Girls-lol She was saying that you barely saw the son or his girlfriend and for the most part you always saw weezy and george and his mother.

I will say I was never a fan of mother jefferson but loved the show

that does not make sense. lol. Lot of successful shows on Television had old peoples in it. Actually when you think about it The Jeffersons were not that old, they were not young of course either but they defiantly were not old-Old. in my opinion

I think if you watch season 1 and look at Louise with her Bun and Mother Jefferson along with Grumpy George Jefferson character, I can see how someone could feel it's a old show. But of course George mellowed out, Louise changed her hairstyle, and Mother Jefferson wasn't seen as much as the seasons went on.

My advice, don't believe everything you hear.
