Does anybody know the full edits on all the DVD sets. I would like to know what is Missing. I had most of the series on VCR years ago but got rid of them when they come out on DVD. I always thought something seemed to be missing on some episodes. I pretty much had all of the Later season without Sheeley Long on tape.

I noticed the PAL version is shorter then NTSC by a minute a episode looking at the Season 7 sets. I wonder if this is normal or edited?

Someone else mentioned the Righteous Brothers. They replaced "You've Lost That Loving Feeling with Unchained Melody. I checked my Season 8 episode 1 The Improbable Dream it has the song You've Lost That Loving Feeling. I would need to check all the other episodes if they changed the song, it would not make sense if they did. Finally!: Part 1 has Rebecca Singing You've Lost That Loving Feeling and Bill Medley in Person singing. Please Mr. Postman episode when the gang find out Rebecca Favorite song is You've Lost That Loving Feeling they play Unchained Melody instead maybe it was a stuff up originally when aired?

Bar Wars III: The Return of Tecumseh." In the final act, after Cliff mentions the movie "Failsafe," his (very funny) explanation of the plot of the film has been completely edited out. The Pal version has him mentioning Failsafe but not sure if their was a story about it, he just mentioned the movie, that they should do the same, then the gang say do it to themselves and agree on it.

Grease episode, I Fought the Law scene was poor change of music same as Monster Mash replaced on Bar Wars V: The Final Judgement.

The PAL difference is simply because the video is sped-up.
Here are a few edits:

* Appearantly "Da doo ran ran" was edited out of the ep where Carla goes to a dance showoff to compete.
* "Proud Mary" was played on the radio but replaced in the episode where Carla discovers she will become a grandmother.
*A few clips with musical moments are edited out of the Cheers 200th Anniversary special from season 9.
*The gang singing along to "The wanderer" while driving was edited out of "Get your kicks on route 666"
*I forgot exactly.. but Carla talks about blowing up the wall with dynamite in "Bad neighbor sam", which is edited out on dvd.
*Carla singing a spoof of the theme from "Winnie the Pooh" in "Ma always liked you best" is cut out.
*Lilith singing a few words from "Make em laugh" is muted in "An old fashioned wedding, part 2"

*While some of the extra footage from the original airing is presented in the series finale, a lot of it isnt. If I remember correctly, the end credits from rerun part 3 is used, causing the guest stars that appeared in parts 1 and 2 to not be credited.
