Axing "Luck" Cost HBO $35 Million

"Luck's" abrupt cancellation cost HBO $35 million, Time Warner revealed today in its quarterly earnings statement.
That money includes impairment charges, plus the production and promotional costs that couldn't be recouped because of the show's short life span.
Sure, $35 million sounds like a lot, but that's just over $10 million per dead horse.
