As most of you probably know, whenever shows get put into syndication, several parts of each episode get taken out in order to make room for more ads. Well, it has been upwards of three years since someone uploaded "Samantha's Protest" onto You Tube for me. This was clearly taken from a recording of the episode in syndication. By and large, the episode was pretty much as I remembered it. However, it was after this that a Canadian company put the whole series on DVD and my mother bought it for me. One incident that I had no memory of and that was cut from the syndicated version I got to see once my new set arrived. Just for fun, I am going to share it with you guys! Julie mentioned about how many of the businesses in their town were built on historical landmarks. One example that she offered was the fact that the bowling alley was built on an Indian burial ground. Katie said "it is good that the didn't build a disco there". Julie asked her what that was supposed to mean. Katie said, "whenever we would start to dance, it would rain"! Julie made a face of disaproval and told Katie not to develop a sense of humor!
