Matt LeBlanc has said that he has no plans for any sort of Friends reunion, claiming that the show was a chapter of his life that is now "closed".

LeBlanc, who played Joey Tribbiani in the classic '90s sitcom, admitted that it was part of the "best ten years" of his life, but appeared to rule out any plans for further TV or big screen installments.

"It was the best ten years of my life. I had the best time doing it. But I don't think 'miss' is the right word. It will always have a special place in my heart, but that was a time and a place and that chapter is closed," said LeBlanc.

"It was very sad when it ended but you move on - all good things come to an end."

Well, no offense to LeBlanc, who I enjoyed a lot on the show, but a Friends reunion might be one of the few ways he'll get work now. Aside from Joey, which bombed, he hasn't done much of anything.

I understand when stars don't want to EXCLUSIVELY be associated with one show or character, but it always irks me when they diss any potential reunion because the show was "in the past". Yeah, it's also what put you on the map, Dude. Nobody expects him to revive the character in a series, but is it so terrible to give fans a one shot reunion?

After that he's free to go on to other roles (or utter obscurity, which seems more likely, really). ;)

He is just saying that because his show following friends was a FLOP and he doesn't want to be reminded-lol

Just this year, actually; three-and-a-half months ago. He was nominated for an Emmy in 2011, as well.

If that's "utter obscurity," I'd hate to see fame.

Well, then, good on LeBlanc for his honor and shame on me for not knowing that he'd won such an award (for a show that I have, honestly, never heard of).

I still say that when his obit is written, the word "Friends" will be in the first paragraph, not "Episodes". And my thoughts on his disposition toward a reunion remain unchanged.

They don't have to do a reunion movie or TV special, they could all just reunite and reminisce about their time on the show. I'd just like to see those six together again in something.
