I dont know if this has been asked before but just a random question! Someone on UM you wouldve liked to meet or hang out with?

I wouldve wanted to meet:

Joe Jones- The security guard from the Su Ya Kim segment. Just seemed like a chill honest dude.
(not sure if thats his name)

Bob Bean and Danny Wheeler-Come on! Those guys are just too hilarious!!!

of course the almighty Robert Stack!!

Dennis Farina- Just to punch him in the face and tell him he ruined the show! Lol

Arthur ''Pete'' Ballad- just seemed like a really likable, intelligent guy. It'd be nice to sit and chat over a cup of coffee with him.

I would have loved to have met Robert Stack to ask his opinions on a lot of the segments.

I was really sweet on her when I watched this show regularly as a 12-year-old.

That's why I said it. :)

Although I have no idea what she looks like today.

Robert Stack would've been awesome to meet. He seemed real down to earth and a kind soul. I wouldn't mind meeting Jane Boroski or Magi Bish or Michele Samit either.

What happened to her? She had some kids and stopped being in a profession that practically requires eating disorders. That's what happened to her. And she's still nailing James Bond, so more power to her.

I pick Jeff Oberholtzer. He seems like a gentle soul.

Jule Caylor. I'd like to pick his brain about anything. Maybe just not the intricacies of salad-building.

Mark and Debbie Baskin

Bill Day

Jeff Oberholtzer

Jane Boroski

All of them seemed like very nice, down to earth people in their segments. Everything I have read about them over the years since their segments has only confirmed what good people they are and how awful I feel for them over the pain they had to go through.

I would love to meet any of them if given the chance.

Who are those 3?

Jane Boroski - was pregnant when stabbed repeatedly by the Connecticut River killer. She and her unborn child survived.

Magi Bish - Molly Bish's mother

Michele Samit - Anita Green's friend who wrote a book about her murder

I felt/feel terrible for Bill Day. I did hear that he was going to go to France and find if Christophe was really dead and buried and not just one of his ex's lies but haven't heard much since.

I would have liked to have met Paul Freshour, and found out the inside scoop on all of the letters.I think there was a lot he couldn't come right out and say.JMO.

He'd probably make you write up a receipt to show what date and time you guys met.

I was hoping he could help me select a life insurance policy for my wife... too far? :D

Kevin Poulson. Being an IT major in college, I would like to have talked with him about the computer field and hows it changed since the 80's when he was doing all that hacking.

Especially since he has supposedly cleaned up his act now and is using his knowledge to help track serial net offenders.

You got to have some admiration for a guy who not only had an awakening to start using his knowledge to help people rather than to do harm, but had the determination to seek knowledge as well.

Yeah. I always had the impression he might have known exactly who the writer was, and had for many years.

Harry Easterling seems like he would be a cool guy to chill with.

Perhaps not-so-much meet under the circumstances, but I often wonder about Christi Nichols' two children. They are both very close in age with me. I wonder if they're under the impression she abandoned them. :(

Glen Consagra (he's passed, I realize). If only for the opportunity to watch him relay that story to see if there was any inkling of indication one way or the other of his supposed guilt.

Resurrection Mary (no sarcasm here, I promise!). I used to read ghost stories ALL the time growing up so seeing Mary would make my inner kid squee and scream. Heh.

I'd like to know how Jay Durham has been doing. Also Barbara Rondeau And Paul Cornwell (Tom Roche's girlfriend and Lisa Bishop's boyfriend, respectively.)

Lois Gibson and Jeanne Boylen - I admire their talent.

I'd have loved to have met John Smith, the marine engineer who worked on the Queen Mary after she was docked at Long Beach. Not specifically limited to the incidents that occurred to him aboard the Queen Mary, but his experiences in general working on various vessels.

Tony Bamonte, author and former sheriff who reinvestigated the Newport Creamery Robbery/murder of George Conniff - he comes across as sensible and interesting, not indulging in conspiracy theories.

I would also like to meet Cheryl Lombardi. She was clear on all her words and was together with her emotions while explaining what she saw/heard. She sounds like a intelligent woman. I hope one day her son's murder is solved.

Of course! I used to wonder if he ever got bad dreams or chills from all of the scary stuff he covered while hosting. I still am curious to know how he felt about a lot of these cases and if he ever was present when people were interviewed (I know the answer was more than likely no).
