does anyone remember the ABC 1964-1969 prime time soap "Peyton Place",based on the 1957 movie "Peyton Place",and the series starred Ryan 0'Neal and Mia Farrow?

I remember watching Peyton Place and having such a crush on Ryan O'Neal as Rodney....I was just a teen then and it was so risque at the time..;)

Since being on that show, a number of the performers appeared in soap operas: Ruth Warrick, David Canary, Barbara Rush, Judy Pace, William Smithers, James Douglas, Robert Hogan, and Ruby Dee.

Oh heck yeah , I remember Peyton Place. My Mom LOVED it.;) The night that was on she insisted my sister, brother and I have our baths , be ready for bed and have no drama going on in the house so she could relax and watch it without worrying about our shenanigans !!! LOL!!!:talk:

Than in the early-mid 70's there was Return to Peyton place or the New Peyton place . It was a daytime soap. I remember watching it on summer vacation with my Mom and Grandma. :)

Now I associate Peyton with Peyton Manning!!! :)
