i was wondering how do you see nancy some people grew up with her in the facts of life and others have seen only the division but let me ask you this if you would have casually bumped into nancy on the street will you yell "jo" or "jinny".in my personal opinion i dont look at her as jinny or jo i look at her as nancy i kind and generous person not a street wise kid,or a tough cop.what do you think.

I see Nancy as Nancy. She only played the characters of Jo on Facts and Jinny on The Division. But she is Nancy.

that's basically what i was going to say! but i bet she gets called both.

to me shes just nancy also!!!!!
shes the great actress who can express her talent in a realistic manner.....so shes the nancy we all know and love!!!

i see her as jinny....fol was like in the 80s and the 80s is not today. i guess cuz the division is more current and more relateable to. but if i saw nancy on the street...i'd be too like hyper and everything to even "process" her name in my brain. but i'd go "JINNY !!! IT'S NANCY !!! MCKEON !! AHHH !!"...:D

if i met nancy on the street i would have to start crying. i think i would call her nancy because i am not obsessed with jinny or jo, but i am with nancy. i think a couple of years ago it would have been jo though. my first reaction would be:eek2: and then:notworthy and then i would give a cheezy smile.

Somebody asked me this once and I came up with a profound answer. However, I did not write it down and I don't come up with profound thoughts that often, so sorry, it'll be a while...
Anywhoo, my 'normal' non profound thought on the matter is this:


Nancy McKeon is Nancy McKeon. Every character she portrays she does it so wonderfluly, I must admit that I see her as that person while she is in that character. She does an awesome job. When I see Nancy McKeon I think of Nancy. However, the next thing that runs through my mind is Jo. I will always see her as Jo. I loved FOL before I loved TD. I must admit though, if I were to see her tomorrow on the set of TD, once I regained conscience, I would have to say wow, there's Jinny because when she is in that 'setting' I think of her as no one but Jinny.


Well, I rambled...back to my hole to get some sleep. I mono-talk about fun:rolleyes: Even I, "Miss Sleep Deprived" don't need this much rest...ugh

Well yea, if I walked into her on the streets I wouldn't say "OMG it's Jo!" I'd say "OMG it's Nancy!"

What I ment by "I'll ALWAYS think of her as Jo" is acting wise. Character wise :D

I see her as Nancy.
But as a character I will always remember her as Jo.

I don't really think of either. Nancy is just, well...Nancy. She's my hero and that's all there is to it. But to answer the question, I'd say Jinny. Nancy has changed so much since FOL, she just doesn't make me think of Jo anymore. To me, character wise, she is Jinny Exstead. Whe I think of Nancy, I always think of how pretty she is. Some people think she's not, but I think she's gorgeous. But anyway, I'm getting off topic. So this is THE END of my post.
