Beyoncé Named PEOPLE's Most Beautiful Woman

PEOPLE magazine has named Beyoncé Knowles as the World's Most Beautiful Woman.

But the 30-year-old singer has plenty to offer other than her good looks — she's accumulated 16 Grammy awards throughout her career. And perhaps her greatest achievement of all occurred in January: welcoming daughter Blue Ivy Carter with husband Jay-Z.

"I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth," she told PEOPLE. "I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth."





Knowles and the 42-year-old rapper have been married for four years. The couple is still overflowing with love for their baby, born Jan. 7 in New York City.

"She's just the cutest thing," she said. "The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy... The word 'love' means something completely different now."



Last year's winner was singer and "American Idol" judge Jennifer Lopez.

I didn't say that, I simply meant that I don't agree with their choice.

I dunno, Beyonce seems too obvious of a choice.

Beyonce is a very pretty woman but it seems that People make a majority of their picks based on who is relevant in pop culture at the time they put together their issue. I doubt if she had her baby she would have been their #1 choice.

Betty White should have won.

The CORRECT title is "One of the World's Most Beautiful Women."
There are quite a few others in the public eye who are at least as
beautiful and just as beautiful as Beyonce. And I am a HUGE Bey-
once fan, but, face it, She is NOT the "World's Most Beautiful Woman."
Who could possibly claim such an impossible title?

If it were up to me, LeAnn Rimes and Alison Krauss would be at the top because to me they are the prettiest and the best female singers in music. :) :) :)

There are a lot of beautiful celebrity women but i gotta go with Beyonce. She is very hot and i wanna have sex with her LOL. Jay-Z is a lucky man because a lot of men want her.
