It confuses me ... allegedly Lucille Ball hated Phil Ober because he was abusive toward Vivian Vance ... BUT a year after the Vance-Ober divorce he appeared in the film The Facts of Life with Lucy.

I don't think Lucy was in charge of CASTING, so it wasn't up to her if that sleezeball asked for a job at the casting department on the movie.

Did Phil Ober share scenes with Lucy? I remember the one with Bob.
