Ed Helms plays the grandson of Rob Petrie, grandson of the grandson of the original couple and marries a woman like his grandmother, Ellie Kemper. And she is happened to be named Laura.

Ed can play the grandson of Laura and Rob. Maybe named Robert Petrie II. Mary Tyler Moore and Dick Van Dyke can play as recurring characters as grandparents. Maybe even the actor who played Ritchie (Larry Mathews) in the original show playing a recurring character as the father, son of Rob (Dick Van Dyke) and Laura (Mary Tyler Moore). Ritchie the father choosing a profession much different than his father (airline pilot, lawyer, anyone)

Have the show be an inside to 21st Century television. Have him produce a show simiilair to the Allen Brady Show. (Allen Brady? Too lazy to look up.) which is a number one show for the network. Add a zesty middle ageed zesty woman (like Rose Marie, but no offence to Rose Marie, a hotter woman) and a jokester like Morry Amsterdam. Maybe the Morry Amsterdam character can be black. Insulting the owner of the sohow at every opportunity.

His home lie would be a gorgeous wife (Ellie Kemper) and two beautiful children, a boy and a girl. Basically the 1960's in the 2010's) A scene with Mary Tyler Moore and Ellie Kemper both crying in distress would be so funny. This is where the Dick Van Dyke character Rob would come in. hen there would be Jerry Van Dyke as Jerry (who else) who cojes in and get Rob (Ed Helms)kout of a jam. Jerry was funnier than Dick anyways, he can be Uncle Jerry.

Dick Van Dyke oldest son Barry Van Dyke could play an uncle, or a rival of another show, who could b e the uncle.

I think this would be great show.

I love Ellie Kemper. This woman is so gorgeous. I made a previous post that she should play Mary Tyler Moore in a biopic. She would be perfect in this and the show could not be made without her.

Have Ed Hems miss or trip over the ottoman or not. I think this would be a great show. NBC fif you make this, you owe me 10 million dollars.
