View Full Version : Ronny's First Gig... rabbitgod 01-24-2002, 10:37 PM Anyone know the name of the "PlayHouse 90" production that was Ronny Howard's first tv job?...about 1959 when he was 5... Thanks Tiger32 03-21-2002, 11:31 PM I always thought that the Music Man was his first gig. But after doing some research, I discovered that it was not released until 1962. So you are probably correct that he got his first gig in 1959, because the Andy Griffith show did not start until 1960 or 1961 time frame. The Music Man (1962) A con man mesmerizes an Iowa town with visions of uniformed marching band. Starring Robert Preston, Shirley Jones, Buddy Hackett, Hermione Gingold. Dir. Morton Da Costa. Folded" Ron Howard was not listed in these credits, but he had a part in the movie. He actually sings in this movie too. |
