Dave Lombardo Confirms New Slayer EP Before Mayhem Festival

In a chat with Philm drummer Dave Lombardo, who also happens to be the drummer for Slayer, Metal Injection learned that there will be a new EP of Slayer songs coming out before the band hits the road on the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival.
While there was no mention of how many tracks or the name, this is still awesome news for those who have been eagerly awaiting for new material since 2009′s 'World Painted Blood'.
Real quick about Slayer, last I read there were 9 songs done, any updates?
We're releasing an EP. That's about it.
