Four of the Jackson brothers — Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Tito — are hitting the road for a 27-city tour this summer, including a stop at the Star Plaza Theatre in Merrillville on June 22.

The Unity Tour 2012 tour, which kicks off June 18 in Louisville, Ky., will include greatest hits from the Jackson 5 catalog as well as a tribute to Michael Jackson, who died in 2009. It marks the first time the Jacksons have toured together since 1984, when all six brothers (including Randy and Michael) went on the road with their Victory Tour.

“There’s nothing like having all the brothers on stage at the same time,” Jackie Jackson said in a statement. “This will be exciting for our fans around the world — and I know at each concert, MJ’s spirit will be in the house with us.”

Tickets for select dates go on sale Friday via ticketmaster.com. Star Plaza tickets, $55-$80, will go on sale at noon April 14.

I can't believe they're doing a tour. They must be broke LOL. Nobody wants to see them without Michael. They shouldn't be surprised when they see a lot of empty seats at the arenas LOL. I remember when i was a kid and i wanted to see them in concert during their Victory tour and i didn't get a chance to see them. I love their albums The Jacksons(this came out in 1976 and has the hit Enjoy Yourself), Destiny, Triumph, Victory. I also love their movie An American Dream. I still watch some scenes of it on Youtube and i also watch The Jackson 5 cartoon sometimes on Youtube. I was glad to see the cartoon on Youtube because i used to watch it when i was a kid. RIP Michael and i miss you. He was a weird guy but i love him.
