Same here -- I thought the ones with the Addisons were the funniest. But I want to add that I did enjoy the others as well, and especially liked the character of Winnie Kirkwood (Florence MacMichael).

I think the Addison/Kay seasons are the best.

The episodes with the Addisons. Larry Keating and Edna Skinner worked so well together. But the episodes with the Kirkwoods were pretty good too. I missed the neighbors in the last season when it was just Carol's father vs. Wilbur, but the spy episodes did give the show a different direction. Larry Keating's tragic 1962 death made it necessary for the producers to go with some changes. The choices must have been: A, to continue with Edna Skinner and Jack Albertson as her brother which wouldn't be too good since the husband/wife dynamic would be missing, B, add another actor to play Roger Addison. I don't think it would have been too good with Leon Ames playing Roger to Edna Skinner's Kay. The producers must have realized that Keating was irreplaceable in that role. C, what they did. Bring in a new set of neighbors. The major difference being in the Winnie character, who was slightly ditzy instead of being acerbic and witty as Kay was. The writers did try to give the new some characters some depth, as it is brought out that the Col. only married Winnie to advance his military carrer, falling in love with her later. (This is a surprising dynamic for a fluffy 60's sitcom.) While the Col. was primarily brought in as a new foil for Wilbur, two episodes that come to mind really showcase the Winnie character: Ed Visits A Gypsy, where Winnie is horrified at being told by a gypsy that she is a "doormat", and Ed, the Chauffeur in which Winnie battles with Gordon to drive his new car.
