My calender MUST be messed up cause there is NO way it is Januray outside. We're going around in shorts and sleeveless shirts is so HOT! Have mercy, I can't wait til June...we can all die of heatstrokes around here at this rate...
What is the weather like there? What are you having to wear in January?

K, um, that's so not a problem here! We had four inches of snow two days ago but it's melted. Now it's just cold. It was snowing a couple of hours ago, but it stopped. Jeez, don't you wish you were us in the frozen north?
JDS84 01-24-2002, 07:59 PM It's been raining here. It is 50 degrees here. Our weather is messed up. It was 60 degrees yesterday.

Actually, I would for a few days. I know, I know, once I got up there I'd probably hate it, but I would LOVE to see the snow, if only for a short while. We only have two seasons around here: summer and fall. Other than that...

Hollow 01-24-2002, 08:09 PM It's about 75° here.
Kay Scarpetta 01-24-2002, 08:10 PM MA is a screwy state... we had snow a few days ago, now it's all melted. Yesterday, the Berkshire mountians were so warm you could hardly ski because they are all slush. Now today, it's still warm. Tomorrow it's supposed to be friged -shrugs-
Montana Ponine 01-24-2002, 08:11 PM Cold and windy. No snow (duh) but it is frrreeezzzing. at least to me it is :D

ILuvJoandBlair 01-24-2002, 08:47 PM Our wether is very...odd. We've had a wind advisery all week long. The mornings are between the upper 30's to mid 40's. Then in the afternoon, it will go from about 75 to 60 degrees within a couple of hours. So it's not exactly how I view winter being.
KerriBerri687 01-24-2002, 08:57 PM we're goin through a heat wave here too! ahhh! i dont like it cuz i hate hot weather and LOVE cold!! hehe...but its been 50-60 degrees here and REALLY HUMID i hate it!!!! :(

dawsongirl 01-24-2002, 09:51 PM I went to school this morning at 8:30 and it was 12. When I left at 2, it was more like 40 something. We have no snow (it's only snowed maybe an inch all winter) and by Saturday it's supposed to be 60 something. We're breaking records left and right.

Max Whittaker 01-24-2002, 11:49 PM I'm sorry to hear that Alex. I know how you feel though. Winter is always to warm down here in the southern deserts.
I want to shovel snow!!! I KNOW! I KNOW! DON'T SAY IT! I HEAR IT FROM MY PARENTS!!!!
Yesterday we got about 8 inches of snow. I'm happy because we finally got more than a few inches. I love it when it snows a lot. So far is has been a mild winter with very little snow. :( Today it wasn't too bad - the high was in the 40's.

you do, huh? Come to MA! My parents will even pay you to shovel it lol. What state do you live in again, Max?
Mossopp 01-25-2002, 02:35 PM It was snowing all morning here. Then it turned to rain at lunch time and, as a result, the streets of Helensburgh are now about 4 inches deep in slush! Euch!

I am not programed to respond in that area.
But thanks for the offer to come over and shovel snow. Maybe I'll make it someday.

nancysbiggestfan 01-25-2002, 07:32 PM It has been around 40-50 degrees here. And it got up to almost 60 yesterday. And it was raining almost non stop for like two dayz! Oh well...the weather is really messed up here.

I'll shovel snow too with Max! It snowed all around me a few weeks ago. It snowed in Tennessee and Mississippi and ALL around my town, but did it snow here-NO! Ten minutes away it snowed in Miss. and in Tenn. That is SO not right!
In other words, CC, I'll shovel snow for FREE!

~*Belle N'Shawn forever~* 01-15-2003, 02:31 PM I live Upstate New York, and the weather here is very very veryyyyy cold burrrr lol i sooooo can't wait till Sprint gets here to warm up a little !
JoPol_wannabe 01-15-2003, 02:46 PM I live in Nebraska and we only have had snow twice this year and the snow didn't even last the whole day and that was way before christmas. It's been in the 60's here mostly but this week has been the coldest for us it's in the 30's and it's supposed to snow here about 2-4 inches by the end of the day and I'm afraid no one knows how to drive in the snow anymore since we've had two dry winters. We really need snow I'm sick of having to water the plants.
1strunfan 01-15-2003, 03:01 PM It is 39 here and windy. I don't know what the wind chill is, but it's cold. Anyway, we are supposed to get snow tonight and tomorrow. I hope we do, our kids love playing in it. The high tomorrow is supposed to be around 20. We've actually had quite a bit of snow this year. More than the last couple. But, we don't shovel snow in the sticks. We just wait until it melts off by its self.
Moonlight Lady 01-15-2003, 03:07 PM Yep, it's very cold here in Upstate, NY. It's 19 here and we got light snow. I would gladly trade with anyone who has warm weather. We need to melt some of this snow.
JDS84 01-15-2003, 04:03 PM It snowed yesterday and was really bad here but I still went to school and none of my teachers showed up so I risked my life for nothing. Today It is about 20 degrees here and it is supposed snow all the way through Tuesday of next week. Dang if it snows that much we will have like 5 ft of snow. But I hope misses us cause I have to drive in this weather.
White_Daisy 01-15-2003, 04:09 PM New York is having one of the worst winters since the 95'-96' Blizzard. Where do you live?
Mr. Shy Guy 01-15-2003, 04:55 PM Well it's currently 20 degrees where I am but it feels so much colder. But the low last night where I live...0. And it's supposed to be even colder next week.
~LadyJess~ 01-15-2003, 05:00 PM I'd give anything for the high to be in the 50's right now, I would probably put on shorts. Hell, I could kill for 40 right now. It's 18 degrees here right now and that's the day high. I hate the cold!
Brian Damage 01-15-2003, 05:06 PM I say bring it on! I love the winter! It's about 35 degrees here in the city.

Hmm...until this week, it's the same this year as it was last year.
Tonight...the snow FINALLY comes.

Cheer up. :) Even Boston has some 55 degrees (or higher) days in winter. (Doesn't it?)
If it makes you feel any better, many times I take advantage of the mild weather. Like biking in the afternoon after work or going for a hike on the weekends into the mountains.
Three'sCompanyrules 01-15-2003, 11:36 PM Holdrege Nebraska only got its second snow of the year, but we only got about 3 inches, which doesn't help that much. The last time it snowed in Holdrege was in late October. There were people here mowing there grass in mid December. I think Holdrege has a shield around it because heavy snow and summer storms always miss us.
¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 01-15-2003, 11:42 PM OMG.. U have no idea how seriously cold it is. Its below 0. Lastnite out here.. it was so cold.
