After more than 500 episodes, The Simpsons are still sharp, funny and the writers are still on top of their game. They also attract numerous guest voices and it keeps an established hit on Fox.

They should've ended after the 15th Season!

Definitely. I used to be an avid watcher of the show, but I have rarely seen it the last several years and pass it up on my weekly viewing.

I wish they would allow the children to grow up. Bart and Lisa in high school, Lisa in college, Maggie in school. Let time evolve.

The problem with the Simpsons to me is that they have done everything they could possibly do and it is tired, worn and just not funny now.

I don't think this is even debatable anymore. The show is nothing like it was in its first 8 seasons.
