TVFactFan 04-11-2012, 09:54 PM Girls walking around naked
Girl making out with a guy in the beginning
Another girl walking around naked with whip cream covering her private parts
The mean girl is giving alcohol to a 12 year old boy.
The girl who is considered a B*tch is just slutty and mean while the blonde girl is the complete opposite.
LOL, I would be surprised if this silly sh*t last
Brian Damage 04-11-2012, 10:03 PM Sounds like another classic lol

He didn't say it was bad, he said it is risque. It has gotten excellent reviews. I have seen 3 episodes and only the pilot is this wild.

That split second was a Varsity Blues reference, which James Van Der Beek starred in.

If it does bad in the ratings Pav, I'll be looking for you LOL
I've got it set to record tonight (it hasn't aired yet here in the west). I hope I'm not disappointed.

Now you're acting like Solomon? Come on. You know this show has gotten great reviews. I mean you think Bob's Burgers is getting good ratings, so... lol

EmoJoe 04-11-2012, 11:32 PM The pilot was okay, comedy pilots are hardly ever laugh-out-loud funny because there's so much they have to do, so all I really look for in them is potential going forward, and this show had that.
I guess this show could be considered "risque" but really, it's 2012, I don't see why this kind of stuff has to be off-limits. It does seem like a bit of an odd match for Modern Family though, even moreso than Happy Endings & Cougar Town. Seems like these three shows would be better served airing in a block by themselves although I'm not sure how its ratings would look...

Exactly. The stuff on HBO, Showtime, and even AMC makes this show look very tame.
And I saw episodes 2 and 4 (and so did other critics). It does bring the funny and less of this "risque" stuff that had to be done to start the show off. Now that Jane and Chloe are roommates, you'll see that they do care for each other as friends...but there will be laughs in between.
Mr. Television 04-12-2012, 12:11 AM I DVR'd it and haven't watched it yet. I had to watch criminal Minds. lol I'll probably watch it tomorrow.

I've now watched 2 episodes of it and I have to say that I love it. It's one of the best sitcoms of the season. I hope it gets renewed.

As a 29 yr. old male, I got to agree with you TVFactFan!!! Both girls are hot but I would go out with the blonde because shes cute!!!

Pavan 04-19-2012, 11:23 PM It's doing solid in the ratings. The show is absolutely hilarious! I can't wait for you all to see "The Wedding" in a few weeks. Episode 3 next week is the first one I have not seen, so will be nice to see something new.

Yeah the show definitely threw me a curve ball tonight LOL
Leslie Eckhardt 04-27-2012, 09:04 AM I posted a less than positive review of this on IMBD under my earlytalkie handle. My subtitle: "Garbage"
TVFactFan 04-27-2012, 06:51 PM I didn't like the last episode because of the KID. This is an adult comedy with two single adults and I shouldn't be seeing kid
Pavan 04-27-2012, 09:42 PM Well have you ever seen a kid who is a foster child work like an intern for their mother?? Unique show, indeed, lol.
Next week there are no kids. I've seen the episode (The Wedding) for review and it is awesome and has a cameo by Kevin Sorbo as himself.

Well as long as I don't see anymore kids. I was not expecting that.
Pavan 04-27-2012, 09:49 PM Funny things happen to kids on this show. The black kids was drunk on the pilot, lol.

Why do we have to keep seeing kids if it's not a family show?

Are they in any family situations though? Kids are a part of everyday life. I don't think we see any more anyway.
