When Michael knew he was leaving Dunder Mifflin to be with Holly in Colorado, he was genuinely sad about leaving his co-workers....like when he said something to himself like "damn, this is going to be hard." He really did love everyone (except for Toby...lol)
I loved that episode, but I did not like the way Michael left. Jim only figured it out for himself that Michael was leaving a day before he said he was leaving. Jim and Pam were the only ones who got to say goodbye for real. So I was thinking if it was going to be too difficult for Michael to attend a farewell party the following day, he could have at least left the gang with one of his famous self made videos. He could have made a goodbye video for everyone to view at the office farewell party. He could have instructed Jim to play the video in the conference room during cake and ice cream time. I love Michael, but I always hated how he just left.

I want to see this episode and never got a chance to see it. I thought I was able to see it on Hulu.com

^^^ It was the ONLY episode of The Office that actually made me cry a little. Of course, there were also many times that I laughed. It was a great episode. You should see it, TVFactFan.
I still miss Michael Scott! :(

Oh, you're right...you have to have hulu plus to see the entire episode. Some shows on hulu are free, so I thought this ep would be free as well. I have the season 7 dvd. Too bad you're not sitting next to me...I would lend you the episode. You missed a really great one.

I know, that really sucks. I tried that with seasons 3 and 4 of the show My Name Is Earl. And I can't see it unless I subscribe to hulu plus. I'm not going to shell out the money to see the episodes. I was mad because I've only seen seasons 1 and 2 of My Name Is Earl. Someday I will just buy the other dvds.
