What happened to Smiley,Harold's dog?
The poor animal disappeared, to be replaced by Susie's black cat in some of the last season shows. I actually think George and Dorothy, anticipating treachery in Saudi Arabia, sent Smiley back to dog school to sniff out drugs planted in their hotel by factions opposing their oil deal. The Baxters, of course, had to hire a new maid while over there. Fatima couldn't bake brownies or cheese puffs like Hazel, but she did a mean belly dance which drove Dorothy into a nervous breakdown. It was reported she was arrested for trying to redecorate the American embassy in Chinese Moderne, thinking she was Francesca Edwards, from the episode "Dorothy's New Client".
