Hello Fellow Donna Reed Show Fans.
I am a long time video collector of early TV shows that have their original commercials intact, just as originally aired. If any of you share a similar interest and are in a position to trade episodes, I'd enjoy heaing from you. Donna's sponsors included Campbell's Soup and Johnson and Johnson among others.
I do not sell videos but as a collector I'm willing to trade evenly, episode for episode. I hope to hear from you. Thank you.

It was nice how much commercials in those days really fit the specific shows. In many, the actors from the program appeared in them. Also, at the end of the show, the main character would appear and mention the sponsor's name and it was also shown in the background of the closing credits. Maybe that's what makes re-runs of those shows (that do not have the connected commercials) seem so lacking.

If I can get a hold of TV shows with the original commericals I am happy as a pig in sh*t.

I feel the same way. The commercial really add a homey touch and were generally short 'n sweet (like a minute to a minute-and-a-half long).

That's why I liked the cast commercials of the Beverly Hillbillies with their original opening which was sponsored by Winston Cigarettes and Kellogg's.
I have a few w/o/c and I love them. I don't have a list compiled, but I do know that I have some Donna Reed Shows from film.
The Christmas episode from their first year, for sure. It has Johnson & Johnson and Campbell's commercials. Roger Smith [Ann-Margaret's hubby] is the Campbell's commercial.
I know I have an episode with the little boy in the baby aspirin commercial who tells the lady, "Mothers are like that, yeah they are." It was quite the favorite commercial back in the day.
I also have an episode with a commercial for the Polaroid "Swinger" camera with Ali Macgraw. It had a rather catchy little jingle. I actually got that camera for Christmas the year it came out ;)
And, I know I have some with the Mountain Dew commercial when it was "new".
