After noticing the Bewitched house frequently seen on Dennis The Menace Season 4, now on Hazel, the Baxter house is right next door to the Stephens' (Bewitched) house, at least on season 2!

Yes, the Hazel house is next door to the Bewitched house. And the next door neighbor's (the Blakes) house used in Season 1 is the Wilson house from Dennis the Menace, the Blake's interior is the Wilson house exactly. The Hazel house was also used as the Gidget house, the living room was re-done for Gidget, but the kitchen is still practically the same as it was on Hazel. The outside of the Hazel house is the exact same on Gidget still.

Also if you have a quick eye, you will notice in Hazel Season 2 ep. 24 "Fires Never Dead While Ashes Are Red" that while walking thru town you will notice "Quigley's Market" grocery store in the Hazel town scene with the bookstore. Unfortunately Willard Waterman is not seen standing inside the doorway (wouldn't that have been fantastic if he was?).

Okay, I'm going to delve deeper into this! There is an episode of Bewitched, where an elderly woman (played by Ruth McDivott), is living next door to the Stephens' House. Its the episode where Serena turns the elder Mrs. Stephens in to a cat, and Ruth McDivott, takes her in.

Anyway, I'm going to check out if Ruth's house is the Hazel house!

In Hazel's S3, there was an end-of-show commercial showing Hazel riding Mr. B's exercise bicycle (which she says he hardly ever uses because he doesn't like it). "C'mon and let me show you something people really like," she continues. The scene cuts to the Baxter driveway, where Hazel introduces the new 1964 Ford Falcon. The white Futura two-door hardtop is backed up by the privacy fence that separates the Baxter residence from the Stephens residence ("Bewitched.")

I sometimes wonder if all the witchcraft next door may have been the reason why George and Dorothy went to the Middle East at the end of S4? :happyface

I'm watching Bewitched again too from the DVD sets. I'm in season 3 now and just recently have seen the Mr. Wilson house in one episode and the new Baxter's house (the brick mansion) in another Bewitched episode where Endora whips up the house on a supposedly vacant lot so she can move in near Samantha to spite Uncle Arthur. It's neat to see these classic houses in scenes years after their original shows were off the air. I'd just love it if Mr. Quigley could be seen in the inside of the same grocery store that appears in the Hazel episodes as in the Dennis shows, it's still named "Quigley's Market" too on Hazel;) .

The Hazel house is seen in a few Columbia serials, at least it sure looks like the same house. It is seen in the 1951 serial Captain Video, and more notably in the 1945 serial Monster And The Ape, where it serves as the residence of evil scientist Professor Ernst.

On a fourth season episode of Dennis The Menace, Miss Cathcart is living in the Bewitched house. Her friend, Mrs. Tarbell, played by Alice Pierce, is seen in front of the house. Interestingly, the next tv season, Alice Pearce is Mrs. Kravitz on Bewitched seen nosing about, by the same house. Maybe we could assume Mrs. Tarbell, lived across the street in the Kravitz house.
