US Weekly is reporting that Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and Jason Sudeikis will depart NBC’s late-night institution at season’s end.
An SNL rep, however, tells TVLine, “No decisions have been made and won’t be until the end of the summer.”
The news comes a week after our sister site, Deadline, broke the news that SNL is looking to add a new female regular, possibly to fill the void left by Wiig. One of the frontrunners for the spot, Big Gay Sketch Show alum Kate McKinnon, will get a tryout on this weekend’s show hosted by Sofia Vergara.

In order...'good, 'good', and 'too bad, they'll miss him." ;)

I'm not surprised by any of these departures. Kristin Wiig is white-hot right now, and Jason Sudeikis has been in some successful films as of late. Andy Samberg doesn't seem to be used as much as he was back in the "Lazy Sunday"/"I'm On a Boat" days.

The show will feel all three of these losses -- especially Samberg, who brought new life with his "Digital Shorts."

Kristen Wiig on "SNL" Future: "Everyone Has to Leave"
Apr 9, 2012
by Natalie Abrams

Will Kristen Wiig say her final farewell to "SNL" this year?

Following reports that Wiig, Andy Samberg and Jason Sudeikis will leave NBC's sketch comedy show at the end of the season, Wiig went on Alec Baldwin's podcast to set the record straight — sort of.

"I don't know," the Bridesmaids star replied when Baldwin asked whether she was planning to leave. "Well, everyone has to leave.... You have to leave things that you love."

Wiig debuted on "SNL" in 2005 and her contract is up at the end of this season. She's well-known for playing the tiny-handed Dooneese Merrill, who's part of a sister act on the Lawrence Welk Show, sexy-gross Shanna and a host of other characters who make other people uncomfortable.

"I will say that when I do leave it's not because I'm sick of it and not because I see something better or anything like that," Wiig said.

"It's just that it's time. When I do leave, it will be the hardest thing... You're there for a week and on Saturday night you're sad because you leave these people... This is my seventh year and that's my family. It's my heart. It's New York to me."

A rep for Wiig previously told TVGuide.com that there was no truth to the reports of Wiig leaving.

"Those decisions won't be made until the season is over," the rep said.

If they all leave, I don't think there is anyone on there left that is funny except for Seth and Keenan. :(

Taran, Vanessa, Bobby, and Bill can hold up the fort. Well assuming Bill stays. Which he better.
