howilu 04-02-2012, 12:09 PM Wheel of Fortune is still one of TV's best game shows and I don't find it unbearable to watch. Pat and Vanna still have the chemistry and the show is showing no signs of being old and tired.
rezny717 04-02-2012, 01:02 PM No way!!!It's still fun to watch.
TVLOVER4LIFE 04-02-2012, 01:39 PM i whole heartedly agree with both of you guys hands down, this guy on youtube doesn't know what he's talking about, you know what i mean?
My wife and I DVR every episode. The only thing I'd change is the silly theme weeks. Other than that, I love it.
duckie 04-02-2012, 03:12 PM I think its still a great game show.
LUNCH 04-02-2012, 03:31 PM Who cares what some guy on you tube says. While I have not watched it for quite some time,Wheel of Fortune is what it is, and I don't think it has changed that much. While never a favorite of mine it's still a fairly good game show. I'll tell you what game shows are un-watchable,almost any of the modern ones.
If I ruled the world, I'd bring some abandoned elements back to Wheel, like Merv Griffin's "Changing Keys" theme music (as iconic to me as his Jeopardy! "Think" composition). The prize puzzles and the aforementioned theme weeks would be history.
I'd also find a way to bring daytime Wheel of Fortune back to network television. There's nothing wrong with having two episodes a day!
But I still think it's a wonderful show. It's no fluke that it's endured for 37 years.

like Steve Harvey's Family Feud for Example.
GameShowDude 04-04-2012, 09:02 AM What bothers me about Wheel of Fortune since 2001 are the background music during the speed and bonus rounds and too many cockamamie categories (i.e. specific kinds of titles, specific kinds of things like Around the House, Fun & Games, etc)
robyrob 04-04-2012, 12:20 PM i'm not allowed to watch the show anymore because it makes me yell at the TV too much.
i'm not allowed to watch the show anymore because it makes me yell at the TV too much.
You find yourself yelling at the not-so-bright contestants? Me, too.
TVLOVER4LIFE 04-04-2012, 10:07 PM i'm not allowed to watch the show anymore because it makes me yell at the TV too much.
wow, stritch much?
robyrob 04-05-2012, 09:03 AM wow, stritch much?
i can't tell if that is supposed to be an insult or not.
ScorpionJay 04-05-2012, 06:14 PM short answer....yes lol
TVLOVER4LIFE 04-05-2012, 09:18 PM i can't tell if that is supposed to be an insult or not.
oh trust me my friend that this is no insult at all.
Zoneboy 04-05-2012, 10:47 PM i'm not allowed to watch the show anymore because it makes me yell at the TV too much.

TVLOVER4LIFE 04-07-2012, 10:05 AM i'd like to solve the puzzle, is it... Yelling at stupid Wheel of Fortune contestants?
oh and BTW, that puzzle should be under the category "WHAT ARE YOU DOING" instead of an "EVENT" (just saying).

TVLOVER4LIFE 04-08-2012, 07:29 AM i'd like to solve the puzzle(again)...is it "BEING AN SITCOMSONLINE NITPICK"?
also, is this supposed to be a joke Zoneboy?
megamanj2004 04-10-2012, 01:39 AM I still watch the show from time to time, but sometimes I do get turned off by some of the gimmicks, stupid contestants with an IQ of a door knob, and the sometimes hasty bad editing in some spots.
Jude The Obscure 04-13-2012, 07:20 PM They set up the chance to win a million as a nearly impossible quest.
Zoneboy 04-13-2012, 07:54 PM i'd like to solve the puzzle(again)...is it "BEING AN SITCOMSONLINE NITPICK"?
also, is this supposed to be a joke Zoneboy?
Incorrect and it's no joke, attempting to correct me on the first puzzle was a sign of nitpicking especially when it wasn't warranted and over such a minor detail at that.
TVLOVER4LIFE 04-14-2012, 04:16 AM Incorrect and it's no joke, attempting to correct me on the first puzzle was a sign of nitpicking especially when it wasn't warranted and over such a minor detail at that.
then is it "BEING A SITCOMSONLINE NITPICK" then,
also i wasn't "Nitpicking" i was just making a suggestion
so chill out ok.
Schmoopie 04-14-2012, 07:31 AM I wouldn't say that the show is unbearable to watch. I just lost interest in it years ago.
UMFaninMD 04-14-2012, 11:51 AM It's not unbearable, but like others have mentioned, there are some gimmicks that really don't enhance the show and aren't needed, like the theme puzzles and theme weeks. It would be cool if they could bring back buying prizes with earned money though.
Zoneboy 04-14-2012, 01:52 PM then is it "BEING A SITCOMSONLINE NITPICK"
That's correct.
70s show watcher 04-14-2012, 08:28 PM yes it used to be a great show but now it stinks like a rotting fish
TVLOVER4LIFE 04-14-2012, 09:35 PM That's correct.
thank you zoneboy!
and again i wasn't nitpicking i was just making a suggestion
that's all!
TVLOVER4LIFE 04-14-2012, 09:37 PM It's not unbearable, but like others have mentioned, there are some gimmicks that really don't enhance the show and aren't needed, like the theme puzzles and theme weeks. It would be cool if they could bring back buying prizes with earned money though.
