View Full Version : The ep "The Party is such Sweet Sorrow" should have been the last episode

Because it would have been a nice ending to the story of a character who worked her way up and then ended up getting a bigger job at another station. That would have made more sense than TED being the only one with a nice ending in the last episode-lol

I never really thought of it that way, but it makes a lot of sense.

Yup they could have thrown her party the same way and wished her the best on her new job and WJM-TV station would have stayed in Business OFF screen-lol

The finale is a whole other conversation for another day, but I do agree it might have worked out just as fine.

I would agree with you except that the actual finale episode was too close to perfection to imagine the show ending any other way. Ted being the only one who kept his job didn't make sense, but that was actually the point.
