My title says it all! Hazel originally ran in the afternoon on Antenna TV when it went on the air in January, 2011. That fall, the series was shunted off to a VERY early morning time slot and remained there until last week, when the show was re-instated to the afternoon. For those lucky enough to get Antenna TV, the station runs two episodes back-to-back Mon thru Fri at 1:00pm Central time. I'm spoiled though, by the DVDs which feature uncut episodes. The Antenna airings are the 22-minute syndication versions which feature some rather severe editing on the color shows. The first season shows seem to be edited a bit better, with less obvious cuts within the episodes.

Yes I noticed that the other day. They're showing season four right now. I get Antenna TV and METV on Comcast/Xfinity in Houston.

This is truly good news. I remember when Ant. TV moved it to the overnight hours how disappointed I was. Not for myself, for I record them and can see Hazel at my own convenience, but I was disappointed that new viewers and young viewers would not have a chance to see and experience Hazel. As I said at the time, how can a show gain popularity and demand if it's only seen at 4 in the morning, kids aren't watching then and only the already existing fans would record it and see it. What Hazel needs is exposure in the daytime prime time or even night prime time for it to be discovered by a whole new generation of fans. I hate to think I'm the last of a dying breed to know what "Hazel" is. Unless this show is shown at a time when kids and young people are watching it will not be remembered in the future.
