Did anyone here find her ANNOYING? I mean, to the point that she was downright UNLIKEABLE? For instance, I did NOT think she was cute when she whined, or did the 'cry-baby' stance to get her way. Also, don't even get me started about the way she used to pinch and hit Archie and Mike. I guess I didn't see humor in it as I was raised to respect men, same way my brothers were raised to respect women.

She was the worst character on the show to me because she added nothing. And yes acting like she was 6 made her look ********.

I love AITF so much its hard to imagine changing anything about it. But YES, I found her annoying too. Actually, it was a neck and neck race between her and the Meathead.

On another note, many of the characters were FUN as in Edith, Weezie, Irene and Lionel. (George too-love how he gave it back to Archie)

I definitely agree that Gloria was pretty smokin' on All In The Family, especially around 1973/4, but there have been times where I've been VERY tempted to hit the pause and/or fast-forward buttons!

There are far more annoying characters on TV though, Bobby from King of the Hill is an example.
