Battlestar Galactica alumna Tricia Helfer will guest-star in the Season 7 finale of CBS’ Criminal Minds, TVLine has learned exclusively.
Helfer shared the news with us on the red carpet Saturday night at the 26th annual Genesis Awards, adding only the tease that she will be playing someone who is up to no good.
CBS announced earlier this week that the Criminal Minds finale will run two hours on May 16, and involve an attack on a federal bank — and subsequently a hostage situation in which of the BAU members is held captive.
The finale will also feature a wedding, series boss Erica Messer told TV Guide Magazine, and pave the way for Paget Brewster’s Prentiss to (again) leave the canvas.
Beyond her memorable run on BSG, Helfer’s most recent TV credits have included TNT’s Dark Blue and NBC’s The Firm. (With reporting by Vlada Gelman)
