In my last two posts on this page, I wrote about three babes who I thought were very close behind Helen Hunt in terms of decency and sexiness. One of them is this show's very own Lea Thompson and the other two are Lauri Hendler and Debra Messing. If I were unable to get a date with Helen Hunt (which I am sure I never will) I would look at an evening with any of the above to be a very nice runner-up prize! In any event, during my early teens, one chick who could really make me drool was Barbara Mandrell! Her variety show on Saturday Night really made me feel that the previous week was worth living through. Over on the "Gimme a Break!" page I once posted a message about this reality called "Barbara Mandrell". I am not sure how many views it has, but one thing that I do know is that it has zero replies. I also know that it has been pushed way down the page mostly by my other failed attempts to stimulate some conversation about that fine series! That show's page is almost as slow as this one! In any case, I see that, my last thread on this page has thirty views and zero replies. I would like to commemorate this event by mentioning the fact that thirty years ago, the "Barbara Mandrell Show" went off of the air. This was a very hard fact for me to swallow! Although I am not sure exactly why the plug was pulled from that series, it is my understanding that it had something to do with her near fatel car accident earlier that year. I just thought I would give you guys some food for thought!
